The Project:

The Create Foundation approached Human to attend their National Youth Advisory Council Summit to work with and document the views and ideas of young people in care.

Our Process:

We worked with two young delegates from each state and territory to produce a video that offered recommendations to improve the foster care system in Australia. The young delegates were able to develop their own questions and share real-life experiences in a supportive and informal environment.

The summit provided the young delegates with the opportunities to learn skills in media relations and provided a platform for them to express themselves to the whole world.

The Outcome:

The summit took place over 2 days and in that time, the young delegates had workshopped their recommendations, developed a presentation, produced a video and presented their recommendations at a black tie event to decision makers and business leaders.

The timeframe to produce all the content for the final event was extremely tight (less than 24 hours), it was a tremendous effort by everyone involved.
